Charging Quick Hits

How far can I go on a charge?

  • About 350km (230 miles) of range, depending on driving conditions. This would be less if you are driving on huge inclines into the Rocky Mountains.

  • Suggest to chart out stations 250km or less apart.

  • Trip planning could look like, finding a station that’s near a place to eat or sight see, and let the van charge while you hit that up.

Can I use the Tesla Fast Chargers?

  • Yes

Should I book a campsite with a power hook-up?

  • Recommended

The 2026 rates for our VW ID Buzz is $350 CDN a day with a minimum 2-day booking. Off-season is $275 / day.
